Suggestions on a good cornice cutting setup please
I am asking the community to assist with recommendations for a decent cornice cutting setup for the Wasatch. What size of rope? (diameter) How long? spacing of the knots? any additional cutting spacers washers involved and where is their placement. Hand hold knots I assume are a loop on each side. Pics if you have them.
Cheers

snow cornice cutting tool - BackcountryBomb
Check out http://www.backcountrybomb.com, it's a snow cornice cutting tool that I specifically designed to use in the backcountry to cut through icy, dense big cornices, I think it's better than other methods - p-cord, snow saw. Plus you can cut a big cornice by yourself. Feel free to email me if you want to make your own, or you can buy one on my website for $30. info@backcountrybomb.com
