Duke Sizing Question:
So I just hooked up a pair of marker dukes for Xmas. Yay! My gf got me the smaller size and I'm a little concerned it's not the right one. My boot sole is 316mm. I believe the smaller size goes up to 320mm. I was wondering if this is adequate or if I need to bump up to the larger size. Any advice would be appreciated.
Also, this is side talk and discussed in another thread, but I'm planning to mount them to an '08 Gotama. Any advice where to mount them?
Thanks all. Happy New Year!!! Woo hoo! UT pow is here!

Go with the smallest Dukes (or any AT binding) that you can fit your boot into. It makes a smaller "footprint" on the ski, is lighter, and more torsionally rigid when touring as well.

In this case, smaller is better.
The interesting thing about the Duke size is that the mounting jig it comes with says the small can support a BSL up to 330, but everything else I have read says that the Duke can only support up to a 320 BSL. So what is the real answer?

Thanks for the replies. I just got off the phone a little earlier with the local shop. Guy there said the same thing about smaller being better. Getting ready to take the new planks over there to get mounted. Getting excited for tomorrow...

Smalls work fine for my 316 bsls.

I'm using small dukes for my 316mm scarpas and 324mm tecnicas. The tecnicas just barely fit so anything longer than a 325mm bsl probably needs a large.
