Movie Review: What would Jesus buy?
I don't really have enough energy to spew out a review of this movie aside to give a brief synopsis:
Written and produced by Morgan Spurlock of Supersize Me! fame, What Would Jesus Buy is a comedic documentary that follows Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping on their cross country tour of the US during the holiday season to spread the good word about the evils of rampant consumerism, rising person debt, and the lost message of Christmas.
Watch Billy and his choir infiltrate malls, shopping centers, and even Disneyland in an effort to sing their gospel.
Pretty funny shit. Spurlock is always entertaining, and he even made me feel bad for buying so much ski gear.
