I'm just about to buy new skis and are torn between the
07/08 Seth 179 and 06/07 Prophet 100 in 186.
I have skied seths for the past 3 seasons in 179 and would like to see how the latest version skies.
I hear the prophet 100 is a hands down favorite and is worthy of consideration.
I am 6'0 and 192lb.
Any advice would be welcomed.

Not much to say except, if you're a good skier, at your size you may want to go longer. With the seths, the mini-rocker is going to make them ski a little easier in the 189 as well.
Then again, if you've been happy on the 179 for the past 3 seasons, why change?
If 189 Seths had opposable thumbs they could easily take over the world.
Don't go so short. Both are made by the same child labor factory in China. Go with something made in Europe, or even better - USA!:D Check out Praxis if you want rocker, or Faction maybe if you need a backcountry jibber. Prices are good.
