..somehow I walked away from this one. My wrist is tweaked though :(. X-rays on Thursday. Could be worse I s'pose. Thankfully my face is ok; me thinks it's time to start dirt jumping with a full-face.

Yeah, came up short and 50/50'd it. Came down hard and the bike just blew up. Seriously not a scratch on me besides the banged up wrist. I am waiting until Thursday so I can see my hand/wrist specialist here in Boulder. I have it well splinted for now. In my experience (3 breaks) this is all the ER usually does for wrist injuries.

Dude, I think you need to start DJ'ing with full body armor, not just a full face...or at least full wrist protection. Hope it's alright.

Yeah it looked pretty bad in person. I should have had that on film, but I put the camera down to dig on another jump about 30 seconds before the carnage.
Let me know what you think. I am a bit worried the frame may also need replacing at this point. It's an 03 P1 that has taken some serious beating.Quote:

woohoo! I have a small bone chip at the end of my radius, but it's tiny and the pain and swelling have gone down significantly. Doc sent me home with a brace and instructions for more R.I.C.E. over the next 2 weeks or so.
