Scarpa AT boots sizing
I have a sizlin' hot deal on a pair of Denali XTs but no way of trying them a pair on. Does anyone know how the sizes run? Are they big or small? I am mainly concerned with length. The ones I am looking at have a thermofit liner.
The boots are cheap enough that I can probably resell them without taking much of a hit but I would prefer to avoid getting the wrong boot in the first place.
FWIW These are Mondo 27 (which most converters say is UK 8.5 / US 9.5, some say it is a half-size smaller though).
Cheers. Mulé

I have Scarpa UK 8.5's. I started out with the stock liner, just got a pair of Thermofits that are lurvely. I wear a 44/US10.5 running shoe.

Just what I needed to know. In that case I think they will be a bit big. Thanks mang. :)

Bumping an old thread for a question on Scarpa sizing.
I have a line on a uset pair of Scarpa Laser listed as US Mens 8, 26 mondo.
I was able to try on a pair of UK 8, 27 mondo. Got two fingers in behind the heel.
Will the US 8, 26 mondo be too small? My assumption is that I will get one finger behind the heel on the 26 mondo.
My alpine boots are Nordica 26 mondo and fit good. More than one finger behind heel and less than two.

you can always make a small boot bigger, but not a big boot smaller.
if the deal is good enought then buy them, if they don't work flip them to a maggot.
UK6 on my TT's and 25 salomon boot and 8.5 shoe

I think you'lll be fine. I got the 25.5's which is the same shell as the 26 w/ a thicker liner. I have a 9.5 shoe, I ride a 26.0 Atomic and I have a 1 finger shell fit on the scarpa's. They felt tight as fu@k when I tried them on before cooking the liners, after the cook they feel almost too roomy in warm weather- I might need to get some intuitions for them.
I think they will work for you...

Figured if they didn't fit I could sell them to a maggot for atleast what I paid.
Also I have some intuitions to put into them so they should work.
