Software to edit Quicktime?

Does anyone know of any software (free is best) that can edit Quicktime movies?

I tried to buy QuickTime Pro on Saturday and apparently Apple had some major problems with their order processing. After an hour and a half of trying to touch base with them tonight, i finally got through (to a sales rep who had the secret contact number) to find out that my order wound up being canceled today. :cussing: WTF! In other words, their customer service SUCKS and I'd rather not give them even a penny of my money now. :the_finge

Nah, can't use iMovie, I'm on a PC.

By "Quicktime Movies" I assume you mean .mov files, no? Try this: http://www.deskshare.com/vem.aspx I have no idea how good or bad they are, but seems to do the basics and some extras for $70 after a 30 day free trial.

Has anyone tried Premiere Elements? If so, what do you think of it? Basically, all I'm looking for is to have the ability edit .mov files for TRs -- basic cutting, pasting, music and maybe a transition or 2.
