I will not be voting in this Presidential election.

Ron Paul. Dennis Kucinich. Ralph Nader. They've either been shutout or just aren't popular amongst the morons in the U.S. I could vote for one of these candidates, but I feel that at this point in American politics, my vote means more by not being cast.

I refuse to vote for any major candidate, by thus continuing the status quo which maintains the influence of the military industrial complex. The relaxing of government regulations due to corporate lobbyist influence(FCC, USDA, EPA, etc.) and the general lack of responsiveness from U.S. politicians to U.S. concerns.

If i were in my 20's and was really watching what was going on i would start a revolution.You guys are screwed unless something major changes.I am willing to do what i have done for yrs now and that is put up with shit day in day out but the youth of america will not stand for it over a 40 yr period.So you guys go for it..Hurry though, i would like to enjoy it while i still dont need a diaper...

Not voting can be called voluntary resistance or voluntary ignorance, neither of which are a bad thing. And it's not a reason to be shunned from political discussions. Part of the beauty of living here (along with being able to vote for whomever you choose) is the freedom to not vote, for whatever reason. Many people vote in every election being completely uneducated to the candidates or issues...you shouldn't feel bad about making a calculated decision to avoid the polls.

If you're not even going to vote you have no right to bitch about anything politics related. Thats the most ignorant solution I've ever heard.

I pretty much feel the same way.

I will NOT vote for Hillary, Giuliani, Romney, or Obama. (At least that's what I am saying at this point).

OTOH, as a nation, I truly believe that Giuliani or Romney, would be much worse for us, than Hillary or Obama. Bush has done some serious damage, and we need someon that will at least attempt to reverse some of the harm that has been done.

A vote for the lesser of two evils. Pretty much how it has been since I first voted.

A non vote may just mean more.

I think that if you don't vote once, you should not ever be able to vote again. So what if the guy you vote for doesn't win, or doesn't come close to winning, you should still express your opinion, its kinda a cornerstone of our country
