Just reading this thread and I agree 100%. I had the BOA on a pair of Scarpa F1s and found that I never really used it. The shell and liner fit so well, I never cranked it down (didn't need to). Just turned it until the wires looked tight-ish. My feet never moved while skiing this way....Leave a comment:

For those that know why, this was a pretty big deal...I got to ski Magic's WROD (it was excellent snow BTW) for 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday. For now, 2 hours is about the most I can do so I'll be tethered to Magic but fingers crossed that life is improving enough for me to travel a little...

Similar experience with the Ridgeline...well designed but poorly executed. Ours was also the last MY with the 6-speed transmission that was notorious for blowing up at 60K miles so we traded it in at 50K for an Odyssey. Best vehicle move we've made in a while (except, of course, buying our 2017 M-B...Leave a comment:

I'm totally guessing on this but that area is already extensively skied. My guess is, they won't develop it any more than it already is (brush thinning) but buying the land that is for sale will preserve access to that area. In simpler terms, it's to keep some douche from [insert your most disliked...Leave a comment:

My experience in Yurp is pretty dated...I lived there from 1988-1992. We took one ski vacation as a family in Austria. I skied with my 2.5 year old in a backpack carrier but our 5-month old stayed with a babysitter for half-days (which is about all I could handle with an extra 30 pounds on my back)....☕ 1Leave a comment:

Haven't been in years but take a look at AirBnB/VRBO. We used to stay in the same condo year after year. Could ski to the door and had to walk up a slight incline for 50 yards to get on a connector that took us straight to the Super Bee. Kinda between east and central villages. I remember it being...Leave a comment:

The satellites are geostationary. They "hover" over the Pacific Ocean. The further away you are, the lower the angle. I know it seems impossible but any time I have trees or hills (what we call mountains) to the SW of where I am, I lose the signal. It's happened on every car I've owned (Acura,...Leave a comment:

Spotify or Pandora? Life in rural, mountainous New England...
So...I had Serius/XM because I bought a used Mercedes and somehow that came with free 90 days and then $9.99/month. About a year later, I bought a Honda minivan and it also came with free S/XM for 90 days and somehow after that expired, they gave me both cars for $9.99/month. Earlier this month, S/XM... -
Casual Patriots fan here...Josh looked the like year 1 Josh last night. It's pretty obvious (at least to me) that Pagula hasn't wanted to spend any money in a while. Their receiving corps is a faint shadow of what it once was and their O-line is pretty bad. I know Houston's D is good but that was a...Leave a comment:
