Similar story across the valley...about 5" at the base of Magique and the lodge is packed at 3:00. All 3 chairs spinning so they seem to be handling the crowds well. I didn't see a line at any of the chairs. Still snowing steadily......

Made some French Onion from scratch yesterday. Even with store-bought broth, it took almost 3 hours. So worth it... A neighbor's homemade Rye for the croutons...an interesting alternative to a boring baguette.

Spent Saturday at Song in teh Upstates skiing with my granddaughter on a Upstate bluebird day.

Real winter is back on CNY...the snow was pretty damn good and everybody knows they don't get much snow south of the Thruway.

I snowplowed with her between my skis for almost 4 hours....

Fuuuuck. I spent the winter of 78/79 at that dungeon. Just seeing it in pictures still gives me the creepy crawlies. Only bright spot was, I was on the ski team and actually got to get away most weekends. Most of my group were imprisoned except for Christmas and 1 weekend in the second semester....

Mrs. MNIAW and I used to watch him in the Magic base lodge so Koko and Mrs. Koko could ski a few runs together. So great to hear he's taking after his dad....
