Just reading this thread and I agree 100%. I had the BOA on a pair of Scarpa F1s and found that I never really used it. The shell and liner fit so well, I never cranked it down (didn't need to). Just turned it until the wires looked tight-ish. My feet never moved while skiing this way....

Saturday and Sunday felt like the good old days at Magic. No crowds, meeting up with good friends on the hill and yes, the skiing was pretty damn good for the first weekend in December....

For those that know why, this was a pretty big deal...I got to ski Magic's WROD (it was excellent snow BTW) for 2 hours on Saturday and 2 hours on Sunday. For now, 2 hours is about the most I can do so I'll be tethered to Magic but fingers crossed that life is improving enough for me to travel a little...
