My wife has the habit of leaving the twist-tie on cilantro after chopping off the leafy top part, then putting the remainder back in the fridge. By the time I discover it it's a gooey mass that I can't simply compost because I have to remove the twist-tie first.... -

Since I know I can never seem to find the Whistler live weather site when the new season is nigh, here it is for everyone's convenience: https://secure.whistlerblackcomb.com...r/default.aspx...Leave a comment:

I'm pretty lucky because my wife almost actively discourages me from having to see her family. My sister-in-law lives near us and we see her a couple times a week and that's cool, but when my wife travels to see her mom and other siblings she has zero expectation that 'll go with her. She'd probably...Leave a comment:

I've only been to Maui and the Big Island, but definitely really liked BI. So much diversity in terrain and a more laid back feel....Leave a comment:

Yes, but it wasn't active the day we went, just steam. It looks like it's ready to go again soon, though. A bit of gurgling going on today. Loved the snorkeling. This is from Kahalu'u Beach just a few miles south of Kailua-Kona. My wife doesn't usually want to go to places like this because she hates the heat, but everything else about the Big Island was so great she could tolerate the hot, muggy weather.

I'm sure some of you have seen it already, but my wife and I just started watching Yellowjackets. We're about six episodes in. I'm finding it quite compelling.
The basic premise is a high school girl's soccer team is on their way to compete at Nationals and their plane crashes in the wilderness...Leave a comment:

In one of Bill Bryson's later books he mentioned it's freeing when you get to an age where you realize you don't actually ever have to buy new clothes ever again.😎 1👍 1Leave a comment:

It seems to me they've been keeping it closed during the playoffs. At least for the games I've seen....Leave a comment:

Is Tom Verducci the worst fucking interviewer of all time? I swear he asks the same fucking question to every single player in his post-game interviews.
And, yes, I'm a bit pissed off about the Mariners....Leave a comment:
