Okay, thanks. One thing I was considering was the ability to take the bus to skiing from Banff. Assuming that's not an option from Canmore or am I wrong?

Would I regret it if I stayed in Canmore? I've stayed there before in summer and I like the town, but I know it makes all the skiing just a little farther away.

The uber-rich are a different breed. It's difficult to even fathom the difference between a million and a billion. Billionaires have an amount of money that is absolutely absurd to normal people. Here's a stat that helps put it into perspective: a million seconds is about 11.5 days. a billion seconds...

Totally agree. Live your life while you've got it. You just don't know how long you have. I know some people love their jobs, but I'll be the vast majority enjoy their time off more.

With my Ikon pass burning a whole in my pocket and the Banff resorts getting copious snow so far I've been thinking about a trip up this year. Anything new to report? I been to Banff a couple times, but never in winter....

I definitely understand the desire to keep working especially when you're in the peak earning phase of your career, but I'll bet many look back and wish they'd retired earlier who get caught up in the "just another year or two" attitude. At some point you need to set a retirement date and...
