^^keeping parts and things around is understandable- i love a series of bolt-buckets in the garage for random parts.
My car was in the shop getting a power steering pump replaced and i had to borrow my wifes nice 2yr old car for a site visit last minute. She had probably 10-15 loose dirty...

Seriously, one of the best things about TGR. From dentistry, to bootfitting, to construction trades... one helluva lot of legitimate expert knowledge/wisdom on here that is willing to be shared.
We are looking at remodeling our kitchen in the next 1-2 years. Id love a gas range...Leave a comment:

I think the rest of his line was below/average and deserving of 13th and had he hit one more smallish air that score would have been deserved... but his final score seemed to completely discount his one big feature which was a top 3 highlight for me. His one really cool feature (which actually wasnt...Leave a comment:

What was really cool, to me, was that it was improbable only because of their name/history. They every-bit looked the part of national champions against the best competition all season long. This wasnt a cinderella run where IU got hot at the right time, or had a couple generational talents drag...Leave a comment:

im mostly speaking about the transfer portal. NIL and paying players is here to stay... but no one is happy about the way the transfer portal works right now....Leave a comment:

To some extent yes. But IU was doing a lot less than at least 30+ other schools were doing. Remember that Coach Cig's original contract coming over from JMU was only $4mil, and that many of his curent top players were JMU players. IUs 2024/25 recruiting was ranked 46th (high school recruits) and...Leave a comment:

I think there are a few ways to address the huck-and-hope strategy on the FWT level (not qualifiers, 4* or juniors):
1) if your landing "stops" you, then the air doesnt count. Eliminates people hucking to splat.
2) One feature cannot be more than 1/3rd of your...Leave a comment:

I totally understand the safety/longevity of the sport reasons why loss of control gets docked so hard. HOWEVER, there should be 2 distinct caveats to that...
1) Loss of control in a high consequence section should be a HUGE deduction. No question. But loss of control in a safe section...Leave a comment:

Whenever a day out in nature turns into a character building sufferfest (no matter the season or the activity), i like to announce that we are now training for alpental.

Rafford should have won, and it shouldnt have been close IMO. The frenchy with the big huck should have been top 5, i have no idea how he ended up so low. Judges should stop rewarding people throwing three 3's on medium-small hits all skiing the obvious main line.
Looked like weird...Leave a comment:

Anyone have any helpful tips on how to transition a 4yr old from using an Edgie-Wedgie, to skiing without one? He can make decent turns both ways on green runs with the EW, but the couple times we have tried to take it off (at his urging) he has trouble staying in a snowplow because the inside edge...Leave a comment:

I have a small chunk of silver stocks (SLV and PSLV) left over from the halcyon days of 2021 when silver was going to be the next big short squeeze. Turns out, those are now my current best performing stocks. JFC....😂 1👍 1Leave a comment:

^^^ my wife clerked at the county courthouse, and its in the same complex as the public works/permitting dept so ive spent a chunk of time there as well. I grew up in silicon valley in the 90s. A bunch of my friends' parents made millions in the dotcom early years. The general pattern was they would, start a company and work their ass off while being absent fathers/husbands and then IPO or get bought out for millions. They would take a couple years...☕ 1Leave a comment:

^^^^ meh. As the father of a young child, a single instance of poop blowout doesnt phase me as much as it probably should anymore. Id gladly trade the ~15mins of cleaning up dog diarrhea to not have to clean the floor after ~2000 meals from my son haha. I will say though, that was the first time...Leave a comment:

there are affordable ones, though they are becoming more and more rare. I wonder if telluride patrol can do a working strike where they take care injured customers, and reset bamboo, but basically refuse to open avi terrain citing their professional opinion... it would be one helluva ballsy move for...👍 1☕ 1Leave a comment:
