The ski edger works well enough for side edge tuning but it’s not great for base edge work. Pretty nifty that it has .5 degree increments.

Other compact multi edgers may work better but then you’re committed to their stones. It’s easy enough to make a 80mm stone 70mm with a chop...

I’ll chime in here. The 2020 Commander 108 had a -8 mount point and was more playful than the final version with a -10 mount pt. The final version had significantly more edge hold with vertical sidewalls and no speed limit. I have hundreds of days on both versions, two of my favorite skis ever....

Top 5 tgr ski of all time, especially the 196. Toe mounts appear to be 3 mounts for solly 916. STH2 toes have the same hole pattern for those concerned about gw compatibility.

I wouldn’t be concerned about the holes. I’m more concerned about guys on dad skis and their families...
