Well, there was our locals pow day. Fantastic skiing and walk on the lifts all day. It always amazes me how quickly this place turns on.
An inch of rain on Christmas, 16" at 3.25" SWE, whatever that last round was of medium density, then 13" on 0.76" SWE. What a nicely stacked...

Alta opening delayed 10:30 at the earliest....

We hired a full time guy with on site room and board yesterday. Alta is probably your best bet for housing, but I haven't shopped around elsewhere much.
Goldminers Daughter Lodge has the best employee housing in the canyon.
Unsure what live-in jobs are available for the ski area proper....

Didn’t witness the power pole failure. Sure got to deal with the results (still ongoing).

Forecast looks promising for a high density to low density trend over multiple feet and multiple days.

Seems like we typically get a good “locals” storm right before Christmas....
