Man, looking at that now it totally could be Irene's. But this is a random 4 pitch climb on the Ogden bench a few minutes hike from town. https://www.mountainproject.com/rout...99/jagged-edge... -
Considering replacing the Hakkas on my wife's car just due to age. Plenty of tread but they are 5 seasons old now. I drove around on icy roads last night with mixed results, felt good most of the time but a couple of slidey stops. I need to a/b them with my newer tires I guess....Leave a comment:

I’ll be back in Ogden around Christmas for a couple of days if you don’t figure something else out by then. If by some chance we get some snow and Utah doesn’t, I may be able to talk someone into to coming up for a visit.
Negative on the fat bike, I decided to buy a gravel bike ...👍 1Leave a comment:

Honestly with the QST line I'd think you'd be satisfied with any of them between 92 and 100. You can read all the reviews on Blister and see which one sounds more fun for your case, but if that were my goals, I'd shop that range and jump on any that were a good deal....👍 1Leave a comment:

This is the boat I’m in. I have the ZGTP and GFT’s and for longer (or cold) days, I use an Intuition wrap which doesn’t match the heel holding ability. I was pretty excited for the Espresso but now I’m thinking I’ll wait for first year long term reviews to come in....Leave a comment:

DJ, second tower, AKA molar tooth correct? I climbed the East Ridge of the Grand years ago and I think it remains my favorite alpine route....Leave a comment:

Salomon QST. Either 92, 94, 98 or 100. Lots of tip and tail rocker, pretty soft and dead easy to ski slow or fast. Bonus points for being able to find deals on them on KSL....👍 1Leave a comment:

So after you’ve added the needed cork to make it fit like the GFT, how much does it weigh? Speculation I know, but the light weight and the warmer toe is what I’d be after....Leave a comment:

Back on topic, is it this hard to get an appointment with a rheumatologist everywhere in the country? Or is that unique to where I am?...Leave a comment:

That’s exactly why I don’t want to read that book, I’ve been breathing without thinking about it for 51 years. I had an injury about 10 years ago that kept me on crutches for about 5 months and the lack of meaningful exercise and the unknowns of my recovery led to me developing some decent anxiety....Leave a comment:

I’d like to have the chance to fondle some first. The reviews at Skimo have me concerned that they will be too thin for me....Leave a comment:
