Confirmed. I got jumped in a chair lineup by a gaijin who runs a lodge/guiding business in Hokkaido, and this was after watching same cut the ropeway line with his large group. It's getting whack up here.

Kiroro gets a LOT of snow of GREAT quality and its terrain can serve most skier levels for a week. Access to side-country is easy and the BC route to Kokusai can entertain upper level skiers. The base area facilities are better than at Niseko, and it is much closer to Otaru and Sapporo if you need diversion....

This is vague (dates), you are planning late, and it is a bit unrealistic (affordable? At Niseko?).
One feature of that place is miserable looking tourists walking miles to ski, and/or waiting for a bus that eventually arrives completely full.
IMO, if you are going to half-ass it you should...
