The sized down zipfit is more about having a tighter fit over the instep. The toes of the liner were super cramped at first and took a while to break in. According to zipfit, the Workhorse fits similarly to a Gara LV due to the leather lining being thinner than neoprene. They may market it as a high... -

Thanks everyone for the responses to my questions on the Remedy. Figured I'd update on how fitting and first couple days went.
To preface how I got to the Remedy, my forefoot is about 108mm due to some large met heads but tapers to a very narrow heel. I've exclusively skied in Hawx Prime...Leave a comment:

That's exactly what I needed to hear! I'm at 108mm because of 6mm bunions on my fifth mets. Had so much slop last year that I developed ulcers on the bunions.
My bootfitter specializes in race boots, so should be all set on that front. Just need to research their booze preferences....Leave a comment:

Has anyone with wider feet been able to work with the Remedy? Curious to see if the thicker shell will be more workable than the Hawx I've been using up to this point. I've been able to get by with punching the fifth metatarsal area of the Hawx, but the shells seem too thin for more targeted grinding...Leave a comment:

Been using fiberlene for a few years. It probably adds a minute per ski when waxing, but it's 100% worth it.
I crayon the wax onto the iron and do 3 or 4 passes with fiberlene under the iron at the end. The fiberlene takes so much wax off that scraping is barely required. I'll usually clean...Leave a comment:
