Mounting some Armada Strangers. The topsheet calls for a G1 drill bit. Tech manual says that’s a 4.1 but not to tap. No metal according to tech specs online, but 4.1 is for metal skis.
As common with most of these original units the clamp arms have seized up and no longer self-center properly. They sell an upgrade kit to transform this into the newer 2.0 jig that should work flawlessly for $75....
Prices seem steep, especially given the rental bindings but there’s no need to be a d*ck about it from your keyboard. Move along. Don’t harass a small shop owner.

I’ve been holding onto these to replace an old pair, but think it’s time to clean out the closet. I believe these were the last year before they switched to the new (lighter and inferior) cabrio line.
