Recovery last week went pretty awesome.
Worked up to 1.5x bw on deadlifts on Friday for a 5x4.
Then this morning, squat volume on the working sets went up 40% from last week.
I'd say I'm pretty happy with this after an 8wk break. Kinda surprising to be honest.

I'm typically around 200-220g protein daily, but will prioritize getting that in sooner today than later.

This week is my first one back after an 8wk rest period.
Before the break, was doing a lot of unilateral leg stuff like DB bulgarian SS and DB reverse deficit lunges.
But today, did 5 sets of 6 on squats at 225, so a little more than 1x bodyweight.
The wild caught salmon filets are $44/3 lbs but you get little more than x2 nutrition density.
Just have to be patient with refrigerator thawing (12-14hrs on average)....
While on the fruit subject, the frozen organic mangos at $11/5 lbs is another solid deal.
Will let them defrost in the fridge overnight and gobble up for pre-workout energy in the morning....
