I agree with pretty much everything here, but I couldn't stop reaching for my 2014's vs the current gen. The changes on the tail (stronger) amounted to the skis losing their magic for me (vs the 2014). Luckily I've managed to hoard a few pairs of 2014s so ended up selling the current gen's...

Devil's advocate... It's not always blower in Hokkaido.... Goat's float above average and will make short work of any weird snow if you happen to come across it...
