Just to clarify... it looks like the tool is skewed about a millimeter each way depending on which direction it's angled and then you split the differences with a line down the center. Looks like a really quick way to do it. Slightly more idiot proof and definitely a little less fiddly than your Slidewright-caliper... -
Yea all credit to Terry and Slidewright. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it....👍 1Leave a comment:

I do the method of calipers tight to the edges and under the ski with arms upward, a centering sticker (thanks slidewright) on my drill block on the top sheet and a strip of tape down the middle. Marks every six inches or so and then have a ruler that takes the most ideal path between them all. Extremely...1 Photo👍 1Leave a comment:

What about something like this. I know with the sidecut it may be slightly off but I would guess it would be sub mm accurate. I have no connection to this product but I've looked at it before. I'm fine with the calibers and centering ruler for now, but if I was doing a bunch of touring bindings or...

Kingpin is 7 and 13 and Tecton is about the same. I'm guessing those are what they used as their design guides.Leave a comment:

The thing at the very end of the dildo looks like just an extension to give your pole more leverage to flip it up.Leave a comment:

The website says 0, 8 and 13 for the risers. https://www.alpenflowdesign.com/prod...45561595822310
Editing to add that the website says they also have a 24mm stack height and 0 delta which ranges from better to way fucking better than others....Leave a comment:

That is crazy if it’s all in relation to a moment email where the only thing they did is have the subject line read “cat scratch fever”. The rest of the email says nothing but ski related stuff. Pretty thick skin huh...Leave a comment:

I wonder if that’s the “cat scratch fever” supports Ted Nugent so therefore Moment endorses racism because Ted Nugent has said some bat shit crazy shit that Luke references...Leave a comment:

I preordered to support the cause ($0 deposit due at preorder) and with the hopes that it makes it out into the world. At the very least it looks durable as hell and better than anything else at it's price point and an actual innovation in the space.Leave a comment:

Anybody else got hands or eyes on these? Seems surprising there isn't more talk about a Tahoe based touring binding startup working with a Gaffney on a new and interesting bit of ski tech that's got Pivot-ish release. That seems like a TGR Tech Talk wet dream. There was a tiny bit in that thread about...Leave a comment:

Unless you're doing CNC a drill press doesn't get you anything that a hand drill with a shouldered bit, (and a drilling block if you're really anal) does and adds extra time to every single hole....Leave a comment:

I really don't think it is. Like Salomon and the Quality Ski Time tour they had the film showing site up with no showtimes and typos in the names of the cities they were going to. Actually it's still like that. It's like they spend a year plus working on this movie and then give the promotion and announcing...1 PhotoLeave a comment:

Crazy how there's quietly a link at the end of the TGR official blurb to be able to watch it for free, right now, on RedbullTV. They must make almost nothing off that connection compared to the tour. Tons of press and hype for the new Benchetler movie coming out and there's also zero info on when/where...Leave a comment:

It's always blown my mind how hard it is to ever find out when and how to watch the major ski movies and it's not just TGR it's MSP and others too....Leave a comment:
