Ok, I feel marginally better, as long as no one is having more fun than me. :P
I just read this thread on reddit saying that the euros only ski on groomers. I cannot even comprehend it...

Yesterday I skied all the bump runs off/under Timberline. Quite firm and saplings everywhere, you could not avoid them. But it was a pretty day and I maintained good spirits, telling myself that I was getting good exercise and I was off the groomers! Then I got home and got an instagram notification...Leave a comment:

Yeah I was REALLY hoping they would open those two runs off Sierra on Friday but no, they opened it Saturday for the crowds. I lapped it midday Fri, waiting and waiting. I also beatered really hard repeatedly every time I would try to head into the powder, snagging very sharp rocks. A lot of people's...Leave a comment:

"More efficient than just having patrol go lap and side step everything and the public gets some pow turns in. Which is nice."
Also a better plan than just blasting it to the ground and starting over, imho. It's so nice. I've been lucky in the past with SIerra, so I guess I'll...Leave a comment:

Here's my glass half full - Skied with my grandson all last week and had a blast at Copper. They were blowing snow after New Year's, so I guess they are permitted.
We had really good conditions on the man made runs and lots of them, he even skied Main Vein and the Superpipe without too...👍 1Leave a comment:

Well it started snowing, very nice to see even if it won't be much. Hopefully enough this weekend to fix the surface of existing open terrain....👍 1Leave a comment:
