That's not going to work well on a ski with a lot of sidecut. If you make one mark, then rotate the center finder and make a second mark... They won't be in the same place....

Whatever you do, make sure the template you use lines up with your heel track because the heel tracks come in two or three different lengths/hole patterns IIRC!...
