Well, no real groom to cruise but everything was pretty soft and it was a beautiful morning. Very much like April afternoon conditions with less coverage. With the Jan sunshine it should be properly terrifying when they get overnight freezes the end of the week.

As a fan of weather data, I love consolidated sources and a good interface. After perusing the site I'm not quite clear on the intent though. I forgot about those. They worked well, but could be a challenge to get aligned correctly with tight socks, e.g. the Descente compression socks, and super uncomfortable if they "roll up" under your foot. I was always happy to get them off at the end of the day. I eventually just went back...

I've been there. Moisture and movement are the enemy, and I found nothing to help my sweathog feet so I try to address the movement. Switching to a liner that I could tighten independent of the boot (intuition tour wrap) helped for shorter days, especially if I tighten the boot lower a little more...

Hah! I do like the new loading area and the dedicated singles line. As a mostly uncoordinated introvert it was a big improvement for me!

That's mildly disappointing about Hyak, but I get it. I should've done a lap over there before taking off, but wanted to save some gas for night skiing...

Alpental opener announced for tomorrow. Snowing pretty good all morning and everything was skiing well despite the flat light.

I hope they dont get summit fever and let Tatum come back too early. Granted it would be really surprising if they did, as good as their front office and staff have managed things to this point....

I cannot believe the Cs are in 2nd place. I figured this would be a mini rebuild year and they may get a play in spot or even a good draft spot, but Brown and White are playing consistently good ball and someone else always seems to step up.

Central was decent until about 11 today before things got lumpy, especially with the low tide obstacle course. A couple very pleasant runs down the gut between the upper and lower parks though.

Anybody actually make it up to Stevens today and have a report on how long the drive was from Leavenworth? I am under 2 to Leavenworth in normal conditions, so strongly considering a trip next storm.
