Probably worth more explanation. A pair of BOA hawx are about a pound heavier than the buckle version. That was one factor. She wants to be able to control tension on the toe area and instep area separately, which buckles allow for. That was another reason. Then the $100 was gravy....

This is yet another reason shorter stems make sense. You get the steering control of the wider bars while still being able to throw the bike around 'cause the reach isn't ridiculous.

If you just want to mount your computer for reading your rear wheel, no problem, just hook the magnet up to a rear spoke and the reader to your seat stay. Might need some rubber to wrap on your seatstay to make the clamp fit since that will be thinner...
