Hiking off leash with the dogs. We used the Tritronics ones for training previous dogs, they learned quickly to just respond to the beep + vibration. Seems like all the collars have the same functions, it's just a question of reliability....Leave a comment:

I'll look into that one, thanks.
The Amazon cheap ones are like $50-60 for two collars and a remote. If they crap out in a year, not worth it though....Leave a comment:

Dog training collars with remotes
We have some old Tritronics dog training collars, one of which basically doesn't work anymore. Garmin bought out the company awhile ago and the new Garmin branded ones are crazy expensive.
Anyone here have any experience with the cheap ones on Amazon?... -

So for the old version of the 104, there wasn't one labeled the "Free"? Or was there?...Leave a comment:

Is there a difference between the 104 Free and the 104?
I have an older Enforcer 104 in 191cm, doesn't say Free on the topsheet - - just wondering....Leave a comment:

I'd use expanding foam for that. There's a rodent specific one if that's your issue - - supposed to have something in it they don't like....Leave a comment:

There's a 183 Shiro on FB Marketplace in Reno, for anyone looking. $125 IIRC.
I only skied mine 2-3 times. I bought them thinking they would be more like the Katana, which I really like, and they are very different - - Shiro is much softer, deflects more easily, giant tip is floaty but...Leave a comment:

I was considering doing one at my house, so I researched it some. It'll work in cold climates - - they draw heat from surrounding area, so if the water heater is in conditioned space (eg hall closet) you have to keep that in mind, and think about where you want to vent the cold air put out by the...Leave a comment:

I still like Allianz, but I expect most travel insurance is more or less the same coverage - - just pricing varies a lot. These are meant to cover acute medical issues, like injuries or illness, and I doubt they'll cover anything like a routine check up, dental cleaning, stuff like that....👍 1Leave a comment:

I had that same adjustable angle tuning tool pictured, years ago. For whatever reason I never seemed to get very good results from it - - when I picked up a big package of someone's tuning tool collection, mostly from Beast, I was able to get much better results with the Beast tool. (IIRC called "side...Leave a comment:

For Costco shoppers - - try their "torta rolls" for hamburger buns. Toasted, they're just perfectly thick and chewy enough, and don't disintegrate around a juicy burger....☕ 1Leave a comment:

Mix in some Lipton onion soup mix into each patty - the dry stuff out of a packet. I always do.
Try it before dismissing this idea....👍 1Leave a comment:

If you Google that question, the answer appears.
Are bots smart enough now to do that to get around registration question filters? Do we just need a "select all squares with traffic lights" type of filter?...Leave a comment:

Years ago, I suggested putting in a mandatory Q and A for registration, which anyone here should be able to answer. Could you please suggest it again?
