Ski passes are probably one of the first things to get cut in a tighter economy. Might not be people losing jobs as much as it is tightening the belt. A base pass with 5 days only goes so far, so I wouldn’t doubt that they are trying to make sure they maintain revenue for the coming season....

And that assumes no other debt service like student loans, which is a pall around the neck of many-a-young professionals these days.

One anecdote is from my years at the Big Scree, when this exact type of thing was tested out for the tram.
