HV was a ghost town this afternoon till close in both states. T-shirt kind of day, but found no slush or corn above 8k. Heard tomorrow they will be slammed so back to the bc I will go.

Diamond Peak was empty and the breeze kept snow cold except for the south facing stuff and the bottom third towards the middle of the afternoon it was good enough. Some fun chalk runs off piste.

Did crows tour with Mikey and crew to demo on Draco with kingpins. Solid setup and ski, but on the heavy side of the scale. Check out atk pin bindings too.

Tried and sold Atris 184, Demo of Draco 190ish big boards, and ski the Ferox 181 in bc only. Too soft for my taste in variable and crud. What ski performs like Atris but lighter boards for uphill?

So what's a good Black Crows only for the bc? I have the discontinued Ferox Freebird which are too soft on variable stuff otherwise light enough uphill. I had and sold the Atris which are heavier but stiffer and demoed the Draco's with the crow crew but also heavy ski. What's recommended middle ground...

West shore was decent enough post storms. All parking at Tallac and Bayview was packed by 8 am Sunday. Trees pow lines and weird mank above 8k. Southern aspects getting sun baked. Welcome to Junuary. Rollerballs here and there but no pinwheels yet.
