I'm intending/hoping to have the legs feeling pretty solid by the time I need to make a real turn, but I probably will feel and look like a baby giraffe for the first few runs.

The Doc said 3 months. I will be dying to ski, but I may just wait for some summer backcountry cruising, depending on how strong I feel or not. Or hopefully catch closing week at Loveland....

Got my left hip replaced on Monday. Feeling pretty good. Its a walk in the park compared to when I broke it 30 years ago. Just taking it one day at a time. It feels solid enough that its tempting to overdo the PT and walking, but I know I need to not get too excited. I also figured this would guarantee...

Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting this ski for a while, and that's a great deal. Unfortunately, no shipping to the U.S. I asked, they said no, due to tariff nonsense....
