I have a cabin rented near the base of Boulder mountain from January 19th through the 27th. We are not going to be able to make it, has 3 rooms, cost about $2600USD for the period. If anyone is interested, lets talk.
Cross posting from the Cdn rockies thread because I can't figure out how you all chop your zones up...

Hey Canuck mags, I have a snowmobile (with a side of ski touring on the pass) trip planned to Revelstoke the 19th through the 27th. Having a hard time finding accurate reporting on snow conditions, anyone have an idea what its like out there with the reported rain, and high freezing line today? I'm...

I'm on some Heritage Lab FL 105, pretty stiff with nice edge hold but of course nothing like a real race or even beer league ski. I don't expect to be laying trench on boiler plate; I do want to say that. I just want something better than survival mode when I hit a big icy spot.
It seems the Wasatch will have some variety of ice for most of this season, and not your normal "haha its so icy, but its really just packed powder and you spent all season skiing over rocks type of ice".
I have spent some time tuning my skis, I have the file guides, the diamond...
Was watching this from the lift and wondering what was happening. Looks like Life Flight tried to land on 210 in front of the superior apron, the sheriff helicopter circled for a long time too. Hope they're alright....
