As the guy that often buys the tickets, I would leave it up to the people in the pool, meaning if we won $5k after taxes and there were 40 of us or $125 each, I would mail out the checks if you wanted it. Easy peasy.

When you say plan accordingly, I don't think there is anything you can do about cost increases, so ya, you just have to pay or switch to an Advantage plan right? Current Power ball payout is about $180M. We normally have 40+ people in the pool. So less than $5M each if we were so lucky. I usually wait until the payout is over $300M for the group.
