Stockli stormrider 88 would be my pick without having skied it. Said to have quite a soft tip and be super approachable. Notoriously smooth. It’s kind of stereotyped in my head as the epitome of an old man ski (that I whole-heartedly want.)

I don't know what the sidewall that MO is using in the Heritage Lab skis, but it's not traditional sidewall material and my R110s are incredibly damp. He also wrote somewhere that he chose that material specifically because it was damp. It kind of feels like PU to the touch but I don't know for sur...

I have the Sth16 on my 186 Rens and an FKS on my 187 R110s mounted at recommended for both. Wouldn’t change it for the world. Makes me wonder if I would love my Rens even more if they had a pivot but I haven’t experimented as the holes don’t allow it.
