For reference, my new 187 CD104L are 3370 grams for the pair. The previous gen non-L 187 CD104 are around 4150 g for the pair. I believe the new non-L has become heavier.... -
Darn, you were right. No metal under bindings on mine either. Was like drilling in butter, especially for the heel pieces.
Flex isn't just softer. They're overcooked noodles..! 😳😳

I'm not debating the length of the binding sheet as I have no clue about their length. But I can add though, that the measurement for a 305 mm bsl pivot mount puts the rearward heel screws a mere 102 mm behind boot center. That's almost 14 cm shorter than for the Attacks.

I just wanna add that Attack's in particular have a pretty long rearward footprint.
A quick comparison, measurements from paper templates all three for a 305 bsl, from midsole to rear heel screws.
Sth2/warden: 200 mm
Griffon/Jester: 207 mm

Dude, that ski sure have evolved over the years. The early 2012(?) maybe 13 version in 188 were not far from 2.5 kg per ski, but still carved like eff even on smooth pistes, naahh, not ice but come on... And still floated like cork in water.
