Honestly Portillo's the only place I've been in South America. Loved every minute of it. It was a work trip so I can't really say how the everyday tourist would dig it. As far as I can gather though if it's not windy you can't really go wrong down there. Just lower your expectation as to service and in general things happening in a timely manor and you'll love it.
