Throw out the BS
Gettin sick of reading through all the nonsense. Seem to be wasting my time trying to find out an answer just so I can get going with stuff.
Someone please give me a simple answer of what I need to do to post/reply to threads. I can't/don't have privileges.
I realize post and reply are two separate things so please don't waste your time to point that out and use some common sense to answer both...especially now that I have spelled that out.
This is the 21st century with technology evolving and changing everyday. Let's get past the 90's with this stuff and make it simple to get new users rolling in the community fast and easy. The fakes and Jerry's will weed themselves out naturally.
ThanksComment

Triggered much?
Maybe AlpineZone, NewSchoolers, or SkiDiva will suit you better?
We are nowhere near hip enough around here to say "Jerry's", for instance.

Okay I get it
I'm not suppose to be a contributing citizen with a job, paying for my own possessions, can't be the one to actually afford things .... sort of... I shouldn't vote, I must bum, beg and use other people and force others to take care of me....also spend all day on the computer, not outside, be a fake persona behind a screen rather than a real person.
These are the requirements needed to join a forum. I get that, got it, done it. Stupid but makes sense to those who are lazy and monitor these things. I wouldn't want that job either. Seems boring and impossible to read everything just to make sure its within the rules of your forum.
Pretty sure that's a fail too.
Don't get me wrong, Love TGR. Read a ton of articles when I have time. Try to get educated on gear and improve skill by knowledge as well as experience.
But common! I just want to get away from ebay and "get the gear!" Local used stores and swaps sometimes don't cut it.
Continuing on.....Comment

Read some TGR articles. Where do you think I learned what a Jerry is!Comment

Look, you get bonus points for not being an "m" series user-name.
But, we already have SkiFishBum for stream-of-consciousness rants, so you could dial that back.
Not Jerry, but Jong!
Jerk off newbie gaper.
And, this is NOT an alternative to Craigslist.

I don't understand this forum
In one part of the forum I can't pose new posts. In another part I can post new posts, but can't reply. I can't PM anyone. Is this normal, or is this forum out of whack? I want to purchase an item on the gear swap, but have no idea how to do so when I can't reply or pm.Comment
