Gonna be in CO for 14 days. Staying over in beaver creek so doing most of my skiing there. Hitting up vail and was also planning to do Breck. I skied Breck last season for a bunch of days so was thinking maybe I’d do keystone instead of Breck this time around. Looking for thoughts and opinions between the two.
Keystone vs Breck.

Keystone vs Breck.

^^^Its Colorado, every chair is a smoke shack.
OP - both Breck and Keystone are Vail properties. Both (all MTN resorts?) have unhappy pro patrollers - Keystone patrol just voted to unionize and Breck’s patrol contract is up this May.
But I doubt things will end up like the Park City fiasco last month. ProbablyComment

since im staying at beaver I’m not looking to make the long ass drive over to aspen. That’s why I’m looking at Breck and key. Not a horrible drive. I’m only doing it one day. I’ll be at beaver and vail for all the other days.
leaving towards key just because it would be a new resort. Gf is dropping me off so I’ll be skiing alone. No need for beginner terrain and won’t need to worry about parking. Since she’s not staying down the day the villages aren’t really important either. Do plan to have dinner over in downtown Breck regardless of which mountain I ski.
don’t love the idea of having to hike for bowls at key since it’s a one day trip don’t really want to waste time hiking but skipping the bowls one day isn’t the end of the world.Comment

Aspen is 1.5 hours from Beaver Creek, but I’m inferring that you have an Epic Pass, and that won’t get you on the ski hills here. Shred probably has a hookup though, otherwise I’ve got a half price voucher for you.since im staying at beaver I’m not looking to make the long ass drive over to aspen. right now on maps it’s 1:45 from the hotel to aspen. Or 1:09 to key. Since im trying to get there at opening just not looking to wake up any earlier than I actually need too. Appreciate the offer with the discount voucher though forsure.Comment

Those are 2 very different drives. I'd take the Aspen one 10/10. Plus your gf can wonder around town.
Not to mention the skiing and the vibe will be 100x better. Is it radix panax notoginseng? - splat

ya unfortunately that day she has a spa booked so she absolutely is not staying. If I wanted her to stay I’d have to switch to a weekend and I was trying to avoid driving to a resort on a weekend at all cost period. It’s too easy to get up on beaver through Bachelor gulch gondola for me to deal with crowds on a weekend somewhere elseComment
