VTskibum doesn't refer to Vermont. Mind blown.

Welcome to our newest member, Lulex50.
Has anyone skied at over 100 ski resorts?

I had no idea there was once a ski hill hill on Mt. Royal. And the Theford Mines hill looks kinda cool with the slack country zone. Here's a few esoteric I've skied amongst the many in QC- Mount Royal Montreal (had a couple lifts, and my first time skiing- in the 60's, one lift by lac-castor, another above the music building UdeM I believe), Mont Original, Center de Ski St-Georges, Mt. Astok (Thetford Mines).
Here's a few from Ontario, Chickopee, Etobikoe Ski area (closed), Don Valley ski area(closed), Pine Top(closed), Norway/Sundance (closed), Candy Mountain (closed), Mt McKay (closed), Searchmount.
Some of these I'm not proud of.Comment

Here's my paltry 39. Hopefully it will jog some memories for others. I have a few deep cuts from central Alberta in there. Any Alberta folk remember Lake Eden ski hill / nudist colony? In it's last few years in the late 80's it had transformed into a bastion for head bangers and swingers. Truly bizarre and more than a little greasy.

I'm around 60 and haven't been to a new place in about 5 years. Gotta get to some new spots.
Revelstoke and Tremblant (kids are in French school) are my top priorities with Big Sky to follow. Then Japow, France, Italy Olympics.

Makes 45 unless I can think of some more podunk NH spots. Or if I start counting ski jump hills... Under ones own power like the bc, but usually had their own warming hut...Last edited by miserywhip; 03-30-2022, 11:49 AM.a witty saying proves nothing

Looks like 63, again depending on how you count the huge euro resorts, W/B, etc. I think I'm missing some, too. I included defunct areas like Berthoud Pass. * means I lived there/skied there extensively. I think the only places in NA that I have a burning desire to visit are Crystal and Banff.

That is one of the more impressive lists here Ski220!
Purgatory...my wife, stepson, and daughter have skied it several while I have skied Silverton. On my wish list. Could have gone this year, but we did a different combo tour.
Angel Fire...my sister once was married to a guy with a house slopeside on that mountain. I never visited. My dad went over a skied a day this year, but no way I was going to give up lift served Kachina goodness for that place. Oh to be retired.
Irwin Lodge? Isn't that CB guided/cat? Do cat operations count?
One place I haven't seen on many lists, if any, is White Pine in Pinedale. Right at the top of my wish list.Comment

Thanks UM.
Retired life is good. Mostly. Going through ski withdrawal now.
Yes, Irwin Lodge was cat skiing. An up hill lift. Just not on a cable.
Did not include the one (and only) heli day at Whistler.
Or self propelled.
EuroBBI'23 !
And I really would like to visit a few of the smaller areas out west - ie Red Lodge."Get up early and get in line like the rest of us" - YeahmanComment
