Anyone know what went down today around 11ish at Basin?
They were tossing bombs, and then I spot a couple people dropping.
As I took this pic someone was apologizing loudly and profusely.
There were like 3 patrol watching from lower gate.
It and the upper gate were closed, I’d have to think the hike around the top was closed too.
Then on the next chair ride like a dozen people followed closely single file out, a rather unusual exit from land of giants.
Not usually the nosey type but different level here.
This was right before they dropped another half dozen charges.

There's nothing disrespectful about patrol doing what they have to, to keep the public safe.

The weird part or one of them was the last of the dozen to drop after the crowd was already down there took these clean lines that they had to work extra for. I guess if it’s going to be your last lift ride of the season make it count?

The gun was snow covered that day, not sure if they have used it this season or not.
There was a bomb at like 9:30am, one at maybe 10:30, and then this whole thing went down. I think the first person might have dropped notch 2 as they tossed a bomb in 1.

One other thing. Whether I've cheated death in a rice paddy with the VC dropping M-43's on me like a Kansas hailstorm, or after taking some light rounds on a snowy hillside from some punks in red jackets, I just like to smoke a couple cigarettes afterwards. I'm not in a mood to argue with people.

Buncha peeps went into an active control closure... they were cooperative and talked to the sheriff... that's all the dets I know.

Abasin has been doing quite an excellent job with getting their terrain open quickly and safely

And DD STFU... I heard that after you got arrested for doing this at Copper, you went to Abasin and quickly ended up in hot water with patrol there for being a douche there too.
