Get it while its there. Where are the beards and duct tape?
Working again tomorrow, hoping for a good Wednesday. Looks cold as balls by Wed. night.
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Yes. Best day so far. Come ski the old ridge tomorrow if y'all wanna get famous.
4" at bb on top of 40+ in the last 5 days will make for some good times.
10" at 4pm though.....
here's the link to the DV.
Skier vibe was 100% better than Friday. It smoothed some ruffled feathers over that messy mess.
I didn't ski BB Friday so can't compare days. Just don't see how it gets much better than today. Full on stoke but laid back and plenty of room to boogie. Kind of like a '96 Panic Show.
Although I do want to give a shoutout to the girl who was annoyed with the crowd size while we were riding up Bridger Chair. We had like a 5 chair wait so I'm still like wtf on that one.
Magical Monday with the Mrs. Old Ridge was pretty mellow and not too cold at all. 4 hikes, each deeper than the last. Also claiming best day of the season so far. #goodolbowl
Had a great day at Bridger. Hiked the ridge first thing (ended up being the last one to the top before it was closed due to two "rescues" going on over at Schlasman's). Headed north and skied a fun line I've never skied before. Eventually the hike re-opened, so I went up again and cut off early to Madman's. Looked like only two or three people had been through it and there was lots of untracked. I don't think I've ever got fresh tracks in snow that deep before, honestly, it was kind of nutty to be hitting these waist deep or maybe even chest deep (?) turns. Then went and hiked the Fingers, very nice, then went to do a final ridge hike but I got there three minutes after they put up the closed sign, which I wasn't too upset about because I was pretty cooked by then. Fantastic skiing, really glad I made the trip.
Patroller at the top of Slushmans said too many injuries nothing about rescues when she closed the gate to hike to d-route, saw two ambulances heading up when I left after that.
The five day powder frenzy has made up for the extended low tide. Bust out the down jackets the next few days!
I figured it was injuries but the patroler I talked to used the word rescues and did not elaborate so I just quoted him. In any case I hope they're okay and the injuries aren't serious.
Yeah, rescues may have meant rescuing injured folks, no big difference. Ambulances didn't have sirens going so I'm guessing nothing too serious. Anyone know the deal with high-t closed today?
