They got 10-12” last night. Finally, a storm since November that doesn’t skirt them completely. And they are slated to keep getting it thru the weekend also.
Poor Great Divide w only an inch
I wonder if not including october they have even gotten double digit total snow this year. That place is so thin.

Yes, apologies, I noted that after I hit send and added you to my spreadsheet. I do plan on visiting you this year. My tour of the Montana ski areas is going decent - this will be the shot in the arm to hit those further away from Missoula

Depending on the level of powder froth I usually roll solo and could give you an orientation in the morning. But if it's good snow and busy I'm not terribly patient. Shoot me a pm if interested

Funny thing is on the news last night they did a story about the new mid-mountain lodge (which looks great), and they said their skier numbers are on track with last year at this time. That surprised me if it's true.

Anyway it's snowing up there now so I'm going at lunchtime for an hour. Thing to remember about GD is you need to drop everything and hit it when it's going off, even if it's only a couple inches. Wait a day and the wind usually gets it.

^^^ Looks like poncho weather, especially for standing in line.

Bailed. Lines are ridiculous on closed lifts and they keep piling people up on VC and SS.

Late now, but FWIW AT&T had a good signal for me starting roughly at the Bridger midstation and up to the top. I can't recall if I checked above that, but it seems a zoom call on the ridge should be worth some points as long as you're not in the way.

Does bridger have lines since they use a reservation system?

Poor Great Divide w only an inch

Teton is at 15" new since Tuesday, and about as many cars up here today. Still coming down an inch an hour.

Interesting thing is our overall stake at mid-mountain had 37 inches on it Monday, and is now reading 52", and the storm board shows 15" as well. Yet, another unnamed ski area reports double digits with only a one inch increase in settled base depth. The ol' marketing vs. measuring conundrum. I'm sure it's good everywhere, the whole state is getting some right now.

We'll be doing control work in the AM, and most likely get the upper mountain hike-to terrain open. Stay tuned.
