Received my second shot of the Moderna vaccine Tuesday morning (first responder as well). No side effects from the first shot other than a sore arm. Started feeling a little bit off by Tuesday evening. Woke up in the middle of the night with full blown flu-like symptoms that lasted about 24 hours - fever, headache, body aches, chills, major fatigue. Back to feeling 100% by this morning. Small price to pay I suppose! Friends that received the Pfizer vaccine experienced no major side effects from second dose.I got jabbed a couple weeks ago (first responder) with Moderna. Sore arm for a few a days and a little sluggish the next day (may have been a hangover, who knows). Sounds like round 2 will be a little more rough, we will see. Definitely looking forward to ski trips and getting back to some normalcy.Comment

Heard the exact same thing from 3/4ths of people who had the moderna. Some said they were in bed for 24 hours straight/vomiting/fever. Same thing about waking up in the middle of the night and it all starting. Sounds miserable. I also had no effects from the first dose (pfizer) but have not had the 2nd yet.Received my second shot of the Moderna vaccine Tuesday morning (first responder as well). Damn. Makes me want to wait until I am sure I can get pfizer.
Already started snowing hard when I left BS around 2ish. Felt different than the glancing blows we have received so far this season. Felt like legit socked in kinda storm forming.Comment

Another great day at the disco. Love me some pow and riblets. Hope everyone is getting some. Need to throw a fresh coat of cold wax on for 2moro. Might be interesting with the wind loading as well.

Full on winter at the Bowl of Snow (my nose almost fell off this afternoon) and the NWS is not fucking around. Those guys are taking massive bongrips and then posting absolutely preposterous shit like this:
Tonight Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy dense fog after 2am. Low around 22. West wind 8 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.
Friday Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy dense fog before 9am. High near 26. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
Friday Night Snow likely. Cloudy, with a low around 21. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 17 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
Saturday Snow. High near 27. Breezy, with a west wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.
Saturday Night Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 13. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.

I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Pretty rough at Great Divide this afternoon, really need this cycle to turn into something. Worst season I've ever seen up there, so far. Be in Big Sky with the fam this weekend for the shitshow. Got some friends visiting from Portland, looks like they hit it right.
Saw in the paper Showdown was sold by the 80-year-old owner to his daughter. Similar to Great Divide being sold to the owner's daughter and partners. Long live the family-owned Montana ski areas!Comment

Is there no way to give up your reservation and get a refund? I got my wife a ticket for Sunday but when she saw the high of 6 she is not interested... This is pretty absurd.
Edit: nvm there is a cancelation formComment
