^^^^ targhee says 127" @ the top (are they high??), any chance the nipple might be open tommorrow?? tryin to maximize the dollar/pow value ratio. @ one time the ghee used to honor mt season passes @ half day rate, a call revaled this is no longer the case(maybe it's who i talk to?) 3hour drive to ltpm for 31bux and 20" or four hour drive to targhee 69$ and the same amount of snow, on a larger base? you people understand my conundrum. (hehe, reading comprehension failure, 127" total snowfall)
In other news congrats on MLB gettin the love on freeskiin qualifier, might have to get up there that weekend and win that shit!!!!! ( too bad it costs 200$$)the best skier is the one having the most fun------DCComment

Heard JH got some the last few days and due for more. We're looking at altering our trip.
Bunion - did you get my PM or are you just hating' on NSP vollies this year?
No worries though - staying at the Lodge at BS unless we find something tastier at Jackson.

I did get it but been too damn busy with work and all that shit. Also the news has been too dismal to face.
Here's the deal. The Headwaters are still closed due to absolute and total lack of snow cover in critical spots until Thursday night.
We got 6" of concrete along with favorable loading winds so the crew is in giving it their best to start opening some terrain up high perhaps today.
This next push of moisture looks real favorable but I would feel a lot better if the temp. would drop by about 5-10 degrees. We would wring a lot more snow out of them clouds with slightly cooler temps. Long Range forecast looks wet, warm, wild and windy. Excellent for ski porn.
The N. Summit has been closed because the winds last weekend polished it to a diamond hard wasteland and rendered it unskiable/boardable.
The lower mountain has been skiing well because we happen to have an incredible group of cat operators who seem to be able to perform magic every night. It was getting pretty thin but again 6" of 12%+ can fix a lot of problems.
So, where do you go next week? Depends. JH may be the call but we have smaller rocks than they do, our rocks are just a heckuva lot sharper.
Ya pay your money and ya take your chances, step right up sonny!I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Really glad I didn't seriously consider the marketing coordinator job there, What a nightmare. And I'm having trouble deciding if thats worse or a rollback, from a PR standpoint....

Whoa. I was skiing at Red Lodge 15 yrs ago or and when my buddy and I got off the lift, the chair somehow got caught up in the around the guard of the bull wheel, causing it to bend then fly off towards my friend and I. Weirdest thing, just barely missed us, I actually pushed my friend out of the way.
Red Lodge chairs may be sketchy, but I love that place and the tavern in town. Good place to spend New Years.[TGRVIDEO][/TGRVIDEO]Education must be the answer, we've tried ignorance and it doesn't work!Comment
