I just trimmed mine with a knife when that happened - didn't think about it again.

Cheap too , 40$.

Why new bolts and washers? Ski kit came with new nuts, so set there but the bolts and existing washer look fine to me - plenty of grease on the bolt still when I disassembled (I assume white lithium grease is fine during reassembly?). And yeah, I went with new rubbers - stay safe out there kids. Now that I think about it, it was just metal running bars the kit came with - no carbides.

^ Nah, just the spacer seized to the axle sheathe (in the diagram above it was part 8 and 14 that seized together).

Sweet photo Shredhead - looks like an amazing day.

Damn nice pic! that's what I envisioned when I bought my sled..getting into the backcountry w some buddies for some turns...but haven't made it a priority or let stuff get in the way, at least thus far.

anyway, I read about Grant's cabin a while ago being closed. something about a lame land ownership issue w the county. did the owner ever get it squared away?

Read the thread from start to finish and you'll have you answer. Or buy the red one that runs.

Seems a good time to ask this question, as it came up today......

please indulge my extremely forward, uneducated, quick and dirty inquiry: How much should I be paying for a 2008 summit 800 154 with 1050miles in good to very good condition?
