    Sierra Summer Solstice......Mammoth Crest T.J. Bowl T.R.

    Big Tim and I decided to stay close to town today.Mammoth Crest was still holding some snow so T.J. Bowl was the chosen spot.It is about 10 minutes outside of town.A wise choice.............



    Getting ready for the hike up.No one else skiing today? Just me and Big Tim.





    Our destination is between the trees....

    The first shelf.We are 2 hours into it right now........





    My turn to set the boot pack up to the second shelf.





    The second shelf.We decided to stop here because the snow conditions did not look very good at the top.

    My turn to go.I now am realizing how different it is to climb and ski.You get no warm up time,heh.

                      what does that mean? the boat taxi? the road? the camping? i got thursday and friday off and would love to be there thursday night, or first thing friday

                              Way to keep after it Twins. I am stuck in soCal, so skiing vicariously through your TRs, keep it up.
