Where's the Snow? An Ongoing Snow Report Thread

It recently struck me that there are individual threads here for most regions with skiing, but no unified place to discuss where the snow is currently falling or forecasted. Having a central thread might be a good resource for those who want to do some powder chasing.

https://www.onthesnow.com/ is a decent place to find some of this information, but let's have some "boots on the ground" reporting here!

The snow is not in Montana right now. Here's hoping that changes soon. 🀞

Yeah, it hasn't seemed to have shown up much in most places yet. I see Sunshine and Lake Louise in Banff are both in operation right now. Whistler Blackcomb is going ahead with their opening tomorrow, but it's only going to be Blackcomb and sounds like more or less a WROD.

We have been enjoying lift served skiing here in Wisconsin for several weeks now. Maggots are dominating Trollhaugen and we are planning a Midwest Grumble up in The UP.

N facing way up high has places in MT that have been skiable for a month. But generally no snow anywhere but VT. It'll.come.

                    I ll

Very sparse in the Idaho Panhandle after a somewhat promising start in October. Peak pictured is 6500’, most of our resorts are between 3500’ and 6500’ elevation band.

Been tempted to drive North to Banff, the skiing looks pretty good up there.
