    Picture of the Day

Another forum I belong to has a "picture of the day" thread. Looks like a pretty good idea, lots of good submissions on that thread, so why not try it here. It's not a contest, just an opportunity to show off your work or post up something cool each day.

I'll lead off with something from Christmas Day:

...Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain...

"I enjoy skinny skiing, bullfights on acid..." - Lacy Underalls

The problems we face will not be solved by the minds that created them.

Good idea, I have a lot of photos that aren't thread worthy but still fun to share. Here's one from yesterday,

^^ Is that off of the south side US-2 over looking Lake Michigan?
Since then it's been a book you read in reverse, so you understand less as the pages turn.

The things you find on the net.

No, it's actually looking out towards the Strait of Georgia from Semiamhoo bay in Washington state.

Be careful about buying snowboard goggles for skiing. Snowboard goggles come in right eye and left eye (for goofy-footers) dominant models. This can make it hard to see correctly when skiing because you are facing straight down the hill, not sideways.

squirrel, nice shot! Keegan, that is a very classic photo.

and crystal, that is an intense living situation. I saw that on your flickr. Nice shot!
