By my count, Disney has a higher signal to noise ratio than Lucas when it comes to Star Wars.
Lucas - 6 feature films - 1 great - ep5, 1 good - ep4, 2 ok - ep6 & ep3, 2 abominations - ep1 & ep2
Lucas - 1 good animated series - The Clone Wars, 1 made for TV abomination - the Ewok movie, and a xmas special we never talk about ever
Disney - 4 films - 1 great - Rouge One, 1 good - ep8, 2 ok ep 7 & Solo
Disney - 1 good/great animated series - Rebels, 1 new live action series that just started.
We can debate if episode 8 was good or just ok, but by my count Disney hasn't put out any abominations. I'd even argue that they haven't tried to saturate the market any more than Lucas did in the early 80'sI've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.Comment

Its not just star wars.
I grew up on AA milne & the Muppet show, graduated to Star Wars and Marvel Comics. All are huge parts of my childhood and later adolescence. Disney bought & fucked every single one of them up.
DOnt even get me started on ESPN and what it has done to sports and its constant fellating of the NFL at the expense of all else ( whole thread in Padded room)
I cant support their little network so wont be watching this show.
