        Woah.. That was good.

They are going to be back in SLC on 11/17 at Urban Lounge. That'll be a crazy show in there.

Alright.... this is fucking heavy. As usual, put on some headphones and turn that shit to 11.

          Can't wait, 12 more days.

FWIW, this is a cool news bit about the various bonus packages of the album they made available:

They released RTJ2 early. Listened to it on the commute in this morning.

I don't really know what to think. El-P seemed to over produce this one IMO. Less is more sometimes and it seems like he just tried cramming too much into each song for my taste. Maybe it will grow on me though. It's a shame because every song has tons of potential and then the hook comes in or a crazy awful technoesque drum loop comes in and destroys all that was good.

Hard to judge off one hungover listen, but it didn't immediately hook me the way the first one did. bummer.

This one? I don't think 2 very prominent people in the hiphop game are trying to infect your PC... But who knows. Downloaded it on my computer and put it on my phone. Neither has blown up yet.

Thanks, I'll give that try when I'm back home. I used the link in the email from them.

I normally wouldn't do it, but since they are giving it away for free I don't really feel bad about it. Here is a zip via wetransfer of the download if would rather go through that than their site. Only thing I could think you'd be bypassing is maybe their analytical report of number of downloads, but I bet a few won't matter.

                          System,
Thanks, the website you gave earlier worked. For some reason the bit.ly link they sent in the email made my machine feel funny. . Off to listen to it.

It's certainly growing on me. Can't say I think it is better than the freshman effort but I don't dislike it as much as I did from the first listen. It's a good exercise in managing expectations.
