    Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride alternative

Mine finally died. Somewhere in there, Hestra discontinued gods gift to gloves.
    Now what?

I was going to say free the powder Freeride, but they are out except for small. Maybe try a message. Let’s see if a link works.https://www.freethepowder.com/products/freeride-radical

I’ve got a pair of those FTP gloves. They’re a nice glove. They are in an entirely different league than the Hestras. A much lower league.

I’ve been really impressed with my Oyuki’s.

For the models I have, I don't find Hestra's to be in any way superior to the FTP gloves. I'm happy with, and like both, with the biggest difference between the two being price.

Im going to be that guy. Having used a lot of different options for gloves, I still think Kinco is the best option in terms of price vs. durrability. And with sno seal just as waterproof as any other leather glove. That being said if you need the protection on the knuckles the freeride is the GOAT. Why not go with the new Fall Line or Vertical Cut CZone?

Hestra Fall Line or Fält Guide Glove

                Goretex gloves are overrated

Fall Line's seem to fit me just like the Vertical Cuts. However they feel a bit bulkier. Maybe because they are not 15 years old and packed out like my old ones.

They pack down a bit after a season or two, but yeah they’re generally on the bulky side.

Biggest thing going for them is comfort. Most dexterous ski glove I’ve ever used. Surprisingly warm too.

Can't quote Nick, but yes Oyukis.
I'm not sure of the model I have (but the design is VCFesque).
Not quite as fucking dextrous, but warmer and more luxurious leather.

I have the fall line 3 finger and army leather patrol glove. Fits pretty much any need I have skiing. IMO, the army leather patrol doesn't get enough attention as one of their best gloves - mix of goat and cow leather, with a removable liner.

Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

                          fuck that noise.

Hey, were you the one who bought a bunch of gloves for mags way back when they did the garage Sale in Golden?
