    Leather work glove recommendation?

I’m putting together a Christmas wish list for my family and I was thinking about asking for some nice leather gloves. Something for camping, splitting wood, yard work etc. I have some insulated Givr gloves so I’m looking for unlined.

Probably no more than $[emoji637][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]][emoji[emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]][emoji640][emoji6[emoji640][emoji638]]] or so. Must be dextrous AF.

I just got a pair of mechanix straight leather gloves from Lowe’s for yard work and camping. They fit me perfectly and really like them so far. I would give those a try if you swing through a Lowe’s and then size them up.

I like gloves made of Buffalo leather

Rust full grain buffalo protects the hand with excellent abrasion & puncture resistance, & provides superior durability Easy-On™ cuff with shirred elastic wrist facilitates quick on & off use, while tightening the shell material to the hand for a secure fit & providing an additional preventative measure to block debris from further entering the glove Pieced grain buffalo leather hem incorporates an added piece of material, which creates a finished look, holds all layers of the glove together, & prevents fraying Out-seam index finger provides the smooth, comfortable feel of a seamless interior & eliminates rub points that often accompany bunched material typically inside the glove Ergonomic keystone thumb design, which includes an extra sewn-in piece of material, offers flexible, full-range of motion & helps to prevent hand fatigue Gunn cut pattern allows for fewer seams between the fingers, reduces the exposure of seams in high-wear areas of the palm, & allows the back-of hand base material to remain seamless for longer wear & comfort Leather welt at high-contact base of middle & ring fingers reinforces seam strength & durability

The actual glove doesn’t matter (cheap Kinco or Wells Lamont work for me)… it’s all about the beeswax treatment afterwards.

I've never liked any of the common brand work gloves (Kinco, Mechanix, etc) they all fit way too boxy for me.

              I've really liked these:
The M4 work glove is built with strong yet comfortable goatskin leather. This glove is durable, comfortable, long-lasting and looks great. Use the M4 for work projects, yard work, ski touring, chainsawing, stone laying, landscaping, driving, camping, skiing, biking or whatever you can find to throw at it.

Dexterous as fuck, and very inexpensive. Love these things - they are also my fall/spring skiing gloves:

we have different brands up here, no Kincos and work gloves don't work for skiing IME

but obviously YMMV I know my ski bud just wears work gloves

Hestra Job work gloves are legit, not to mention dexterous as fuck, and reasonably priced. I’ve got 2 pairs, one insulated and pair uninsulated. I think I paid $18 for the unlined ones and a few bucks more for the insulated ones, $22 or $23 ? I treat them twice a year with Pecards, the pair in this photo is about 2 years old.

Never liked Kincos. Have a few pairs of Trucks I like.

My favorite though are these Boss Arctik gloves that I picked up for like $25 for 2 pair at Costco. Warmer than the M1 Pro trucks and more dexterous than any Kincos I've been in. https://bossgloves.com/product/145271

Looks like ebay has them for around $35 for 2 pair.

Yall pay a lot for all leather work gloves. I always wear holes in the fingertips of my leather work gloves used doing outdoorsy property things. It kinda kills some of the benefits of the gloves. Others have this problem? The links that I’ve looked at in this thread show gloves that don’t seem to solve that problem.
