    Pivot 2.0

I searched and couldn't find anything specific yet. If it exists, feel free to flame me.

Any differences in delta, functionality, or elastic travel that anyone can attest to yet?

only differences im aware of is a redesign in the arms on the heel piece.. supposed to eliminate the possibility to snap your finger off if you get it caught as there is now more clearance.. and I think there's a bit more adjustability range. not sure how much more as I think the pivot 1.0 you could go about +/- 5mm each way

There's some info in one of the gear rumors threads but it might take some digging.

Video with some info here https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...-Pivot-Updates

Some people have already bought them from Europe

My understanding is more adjustment range (yay!), a little less plastic, and pozi drive adjust

More travel is really just more adjusment range, right?

where did you hear scratch resistant finish? I haven’t seen that said anywhere. I know the rubber bumpers are supposed to help the heel not get scratched as much from people stomping on them. But that’s not a finish.

you're right. not a finish.. just ironic that they include rubber bumpers to protect the finish but they still get scratched up during shipping.

Double the current elastic travel would be wild. Especially for the pivot. Probably referring to the adjustment.

There was supposed to be greater adjustment range, but looking over the pair that I received, it appears like it may actually be less.

if you’ve seen pivots that have been stomped on its clear the bumpers will make a huge difference.

correct. This was clarified in the ski talk thread. Just more adjustment range. No more elasticity.

Yeah, except thats seems like a bogus claim. Be curious to hear from others who have a pair in hand, but I don't see any additional adjustment range on my pair.
